When I first started Yoga with Aravind sir, he asked me my goals on why I wanted to start Yoga. I replied that my goal was to improve my flexibility and get in shape. But I didn’t know that Yoga is much more than just asanas.
‘yoga is the calming down of the fluctuations/pattern of mind’ (Yoga Chitta vritti nirodhah ), as Patanjali sage says. This fact is the first thing that Aravind sir taught to me. Sir considered and explained all the basics and eight limbs of Yoga in detail. He made me concentrate on pranayama along with meditation immensely. It helped me a lot to be self-aware and to do my work very efficiently. It has helped me both personally and professionally. Yoga is not only asanas, and it’s only one part of Yoga itself.

Due to a minor incident, my L4-L5 spinal discs were bulged and herniated. No pain-specialist or physiotherapist or ortho could solve this problem for 3 years. At the age of 30, my health and lifestyle deteriorated because of an unanticipated incident. There were a lot of other familial issues in my life too which were stressful and slowly killing me.
In the first week that I joined the health reset program, i could see visible changes in my appearance, my mood and most importantly my energy.
